  • Fun for the Whole Family

The Columbia River Gorge offers fun activities for the entire family to enjoy year round, indoors and out. We celebrate the abundance of our region with many local festivals and events. From performing arts productions, alpaca farm tours, cultural showcases, musicals, raptor education events, fun-runs, star-gazing, yoga & meditation sessions, to wine & paint nights, museum visits, local music concerts, celebrations, parades and special feature events... there is always something to do!  Check out our Events Calendar for listings.

Whether you are seeking heart racing adventures or an easy paced experience, stop by our Visitor Center for suggestions, maps and more!

  • Experience the Arts & History

Visit one of our many fine museums to explore the history of Native American culture, timber and logging, agriculture and recreation of the Mid-Columbia region. Artwork by local artists hangs on the walls of many restaurants and retailers in rotating displays, with larger than life murals scattered around the communities for you to seek out. Gorge Artists Open Studio Tour weekend is a great way to learn more about all the amazing artisan and craftspeople living and working here. Synergy and partnerships abound in the Columbia River Gorge, which means you will likely find live entertainment in many of our restaurants/lounges most any night of the week.
