Trout Lake Fiber Arts Festival
Jun 8 – Jun 9 all-day

Come join us at Washington’s newest fiber festival in Trout Lake where lush forests, flowing rivers, and a towering mountain welcome all those who weave, knit, felt, dye, quilt, and spin.
Trout Lake Fiber Arts Festival is coming this summer on June 8 and 9. We kick off the weekend at the Grange Hall on Friday with the opening of the Artists’ Marketplace 3 – 7 PM and throw in a Wine & Cheese Reception (no host) 4 – 6 PM. The Artists’ Marketplace, filled with appealing handcrafted fiber arts, will continue on Saturday at the Grange 9 – 5 PM.
HOLD ON, THERE’S A LOT MORE: Saturday has creative demonstrations, hands-on activities, maker workshops, alpaca educational tours, and raffle items. Did we leave something out? Do you have something you can contribute to make this Festival even more spectacular? Please visit our website at www.troutlakefestivalofthearts.com to learn how you can be one of the fiber artists in the Marketplace. Visit often! We are busy planning and will fill the website with everything fiber as we rush to launch our first Festival.
AND MORE: Hey, do you or someone you know want to be a part of the first “Fleece to Shawl” at Meadowrock Alpacas? As part of the Festival, it’s free! You can join in the fiber frolic by registering your team online at www.meadowrockalpacas.com where you can learn more about this exciting new Pacific NW contest including the fine print, i.e. the rules!
Feed your hunger for the fiber arts!
Whether you choose to sell your lovely creations in the Artists’ Marketplace, watch a demonstration, sign up for one of the dyeing workshops (number of participants limited), register for the Fleece to Shawl, give a demonstration, lead an activity, learn about the unique alpaca on a tour, or try something new to you like felting, knitting, or drop spindle spinning you’ll have a smashing good time reveling in all the fiber fun.

Trout Lake is a small rural community just north of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area on the east side of the Cascades. Visit www.troutlakewashington.com to find out about local lodging (which fills up fast as we enter the summer months, just so you know), local eateries (that you’ll write home about), and one of the best RV parks in the state of Washington that will draw you back year after year (book early!). Be sure to check the Air BnB’s too!
