• Big Britches Letter from Joe

    Hello, everyone. Joe here.

This isn’t something we’ve done before, but I feel the need to reach out. We don’t do fundraisers for business operations. We are not a nonprofit, and I know that affects some people‘s decisions about giving money. So this isn’t a fundraiser email.

I am writing to be informational. Our theater company is funded by ticket sales. There are some consistent supporters, like AniChe Cellars, Syncline Winery, and Double Mountain Brewery, whom we appreciate greatly, and some advertisers who we are so grateful for, but their generous contributions won't keep the business running.

I’m writing today to ask that you consider purchasing tickets for “An Evening of One Acts”, opening March 6, if you haven’t already. This time of year ticket sales are typically low compared to the rest of the year.

This will be a really good evening of theater and you’ll support new artists working on their craft. We have three new directors for these short plays. There are 20 community members in the cast and crew, some making their debut on stage alongside some familiar theatre veterans.

The whole evening is roughly 2 hours long. The first play is roughly 13 minutes, followed by a 10 minute intermission, the second play is roughly 32 minutes, followed by another 10 minute intermission, and the last play is roughly 54 minutes.

You get three unique shows for the ticket price of one!

That’s it, I want to keep it short, and rather than ask you to donate, I’m asking you to simply come and see a show. 😊

We want to continue serving our community by providing entertainment and a place of connection for our cast, crew, and our community itself. Please help be a part of that by purchasing your tickets today.

P.S.  Auditions for the next show, with guest director Lisa Roth, currently hailing from Chicago, are coming up soon! A hilarious farce entitled “Moon Over Buffalo” by Ken Ludwig.

Thank you so much for all your continued support! We look forward to entertaining you in the future.

    In gratitude,

    Joe
